This policy covers clearcareerpath.com. It applies to anyone who opens a page, applies for a role or sends us an email. ClearCareerPath advertises home-based roles across Singapore and puts applicants in touch with the organisations that are hiring; we do not hire anyone ourselves. We are based in Bukit Batok, Singapore, and can be reached at careers@clearcareerpath.com.
Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 governs how we collect, use and disclose personal data. Where this policy says "personal data", it means any information from which you can be identified. "Employer" refers to the business that posted the role you are interested in.
An application reaches us in two pieces. The form gives us what you enter there, usually your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, preferred role and available hours. The WhatsApp message gives us whatever you write in it. An email to us gives us your address and its contents.
The form shows which fields are required. Leaving one of them blank can mean we have no way to contact you or cannot forward the application. Anything we do not mark as required can be left out.
Each visit leaves ordinary server records behind: your IP address, device and browser type, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp. These exist so the site stays online and attacks can be stopped. They sit with our hosting provider and are not matched to anyone's application.
ClearCareerPath sets no marketing or analytics cookies. A strictly necessary security cookie may be set by our hosting provider to separate real visitors from bots. Your browser lets you refuse or clear cookies without breaking the pages.
As of the date at the top, no advertising pixels, remarketing tags or analytics tools run on this site. Before any are added, this policy will be updated to name the provider, describe what it receives and set out your options. Contact details such as your name, number or email are never passed into measurement events or page URLs.
Your details let us review and reply to your application, match it to the role you chose, introduce you to that role's employer, keep an accurate record of the exchange, handle complaints or abuse, and comply with the law. Applying does not sign you up for marketing. Contact lists are not for sale or rent, ever.
The form is step one. Step two is sending a WhatsApp message to our HR team, and your application is only complete once that message is sent. Tapping our button opens WhatsApp with a message ready, but nothing leaves your phone until you confirm the recipient and press Send. We receive that message through WhatsApp. No WhatsApp? Write to careers@clearcareerpath.com and we will offer an alternative.
Applications are visible only to the staff who process them. We pass the relevant details to the employer behind the role you applied for, and you will know that employer's identity when the introduction happens. Should another employer look like a better fit, we check with you first; without your agreement, nothing is shared.
Three outside services are involved. Cloudflare serves the website, filters malicious traffic and forwards mail sent to our address. Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google's servers. WhatsApp, a Meta service, carries any messages you exchange with us there. Each applies its own privacy terms. Any new provider will appear in this list before we start using it.
Those providers run infrastructure in several countries, the United States among them, so your data may be processed abroad. Where that happens we follow the transfer requirements of the PDPA so the data remains protected to a comparable standard. Ask us by email if you want to know more.
Personal data may be released if a law obliges us, or where it is reasonably needed to look into fraud, impersonation of ClearCareerPath or a risk to someone's safety. Only what is necessary is released.
We delete application records and the messages attached to them twelve months after our last meaningful exchange with you about a role. A legal duty or an unresolved dispute is the only reason we would hold them longer. Server logs are rotated automatically by the hosting provider and we keep no copy.
The whole site runs on HTTPS. Only the people who process applications can open them, and records are not duplicated into shared folders or chat groups. No safeguard is perfect; if a breach creates a risk to you, you will hear from us and we will act as the law requires.
We never ask applicants for payment, passwords or banking details.
An application never needs your NRIC or FIN, passport number, OTPs, card details or scans of ID. If any of these reach us, they are deleted.
You are entitled to find out what personal data we have about you, have it corrected, withdraw consent or have it deleted. Send your request to careers@clearcareerpath.com. A short check may be needed to make sure the request is really yours.
Requests are handled within 30 days, and you get written confirmation once they are complete. If we cannot fully carry one out, perhaps because the law makes us keep a record, you will be told the reason and your remaining options.
Changed your mind? Email us and processing of your application stops. An introduction that has already taken place cannot be reversed, though we will let the employer know you have withdrawn.
An employer, or WhatsApp itself, may hold copies we do not control, and removing our records does not remove theirs. We will point you to the right organisation where that is the case.
Applications are reviewed by a person; no automated system decides anything about you. We also do not use your application to send promotions.
ClearCareerPath is aimed at adult job seekers. If we find we have collected data from a child without meaning to, we erase it.
Believe your data has been mishandled? Tell us at careers@clearcareerpath.com, with as much detail as you can. You will receive a written reply after we investigate. If you are not satisfied, respond to that reply and a different member of the team reviews the whole matter.
Revised versions carry a new date at the top. Where a revision changes how existing data is used, those affected are informed before it takes effect.
